The Mother Board
Monthly Meetings
Creative Habitat holds a monthly networking meeting called The Mother Board. Just as a motherboard is one of the most essential parts of a computer system – holding together the central processing unit (CPU), memory and connectors for input and output devices – we know mom entrepreneurs are the “motherboard” of their families and their businesses.
The Mother Board provides a safe and inclusive space for entrepreneurial moms to discuss strategies in both running a business and running a household. Mother Board meetings will be similiar to board room communication where important strategies are discussed…but more laid back and kid friendly – we are all mom entreperneurs afterall!
We meet at different women-owned business locations throughout Des Moines to give everyone an opportunity to learn about each mom entrepreneurs life while serving the community in their unique space – their Creative Habitat! Any mom who own a business, wants to own one, or is working on a creative venture and wants support on her journey is welcome.
